Mr. Janke, Managing Partner and Co-Founder of BlackSwan Partners LP, was most recently a Vice President at Starwood Capital Group, a real estate private equity firm as well as a co-founder of Starwood Energy Group. Prior to Starwood, he was Director of Finance and Strategic planning for Tyco International. Before Tyco, Mr. Janke was an investment professional at Soros Fund Management focusing on private equity opportunities. Mr. Janke began his professional career as an investment banker with Alex. Brown & Sons in the Restructuring Group. Mr. Janke is a graduate of Harvard Business School and Middlebury College. He currently serves on the boards of Ali Wing, Inc. d/b/a Giggle, BlueFly, Inc. and SonomaWest Holdings, Inc.
